There?s a room in Hamilton where the city?s most prominent citizens used to meet. It was a time when giving back to the community was still an integral part of American culture. A time when no matter how long or busy the work week, people still managed to donate time to philanthropic efforts.

Even after teaching chemistry for more than 30 years, Anthony Favero has still got the right mix. The Hamilton High School teacher recently garnered a national award, commending him for his exemplary work in the chemistry field.

With the first day of school looming for most, students and their parents will be spending but by all accounts perhaps not as much as in years past.

The Big Sky Hoops girls' all-star team won the West Regional AAU Championship tournament on July 25 in Las Vegas.
